The 2012 edition of the Standard Assessment Procedure, SAP 2012, can now be downloaded from the following website – http://www.bre.co.uk/sap2012/page.jsp?id=2759
This version is provisional pending the addition of further data related to revised building regulations. It is expected that SAP 2012 will be used for building regulation compliance for new dwellings and for Energy Performance Certificates. The date of the forthcoming building regulation, Part L update has not yet been confirmed.
Meanwhile SAP 2009 remains the applicable version for building regulations and Energy Performance Certificates.
