To celebrate Earth Day 2024 a number of volunteers from the Element Sustainability team spent some time litter picking in our local community. As the theme for Earth Day this year is ‘Planet vs. Plastics’, and given that the vast majority of litter is predominantly made from plastics, it was decided that litter picking in the local community would be a great way to get out of the office and highlight the negative impacts of plastics in the environment. Well done to the team for cleaning up the local environment and helping to reduce the amount of plastic litter.
