New Instruction – BREEAM 2014 New Construction Assessment

Element Sustainability has been appointed by V4 Flooring, to provide BREEAM assessment and certification services for their proposed retail and office extension at Greenbays Park, Woking. Two BREEAM New Construction 2014 assessments will assess a two storey extension of an existing warehouse. The extension will comprise of retail/showroom space to the ground floor and office accommodation to the first floor, these two building functions will be assessed separately.

The BREEAM target rating is understood to be ‘Very Good’, which represents a performance equivalent to the top 25% of UK commercial buildings.

Having agreed the assessment approach we will work closely with the design team to assess the proposed development through to completion, providing support and advice on how best to achieve the requisite BREEAM rating.
