Element Sustainability Scores Top Marks

Element Sustainability is pleased to announce that we have expanded the range of Environmental and BREEAM assessment services that we can offer. These are as follows:

HQM – Home Quality Mark

The HQM is a new national standard for residential dwellings, which uses a simple five star rating to provide impartial information from independent experts on a new home’s design, construction quality and running costs. This is a new assessment methodology to replace the Code for Sustainable Homes and is still going through the final stages of development.

Our team are now fully trained assessors scoring 100% in the assessor HQM examination. We are now able to register and progress projects under the BETA version of the scheme.

BREEAM Refurbishment and Fit out 2014

The BREEAM UK Refurbishment and Fit-Out 2014 scheme is a performance based assessment method and certification scheme for existing building refurbishment and fit-out projects. Our Licensed BREEAM assessor is now fully trained also obtaining a exceptional high score of 92% in the assessor exam.

Other environmental assessment services that  Element Sustainability can offer are:

  • BREEAM New Construction (versions: 2008, 2011 and 2014);
  • BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment (versions: 2012 and 2014); and,
