New Instruction – BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment Pre-Assessment

Element Sustainability has been appointed by OMI Architects to provided a BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment Pre-Assessment for their proposed scheme at Charlotte House, Manchester.

The proposals include for the refurbishment of Charlotte House which is a Grade II listed building. The proposed scheme will provide retail space to the lower ground floor with thirteen residential units arranged over the floors above. This scheme is required to achieve a BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment (BREEAM DR) ‘Excellent’ rating.

The Pre-Assessment will initiate the BREEAM assessment process, provide confidence as to how the requisite performance will be achieved and determine the specifications necessary to achieve the target BREEAM DR rating. We will liaise closely with the design team to ensure all client priorities are incorporated within the proposed approach for the site.
