Latest Instruction – Energy and Sustainability Statements

1st August 2012

Element Sustainability has been appointed by planning consultants Nathaniel Lichfield LLP to provide input to an Outline Planning Application for a proposed residential development in the North West.  The brown field site will accommodate up to thirteen properties and must demonstrate how various local planning targets, established within the Manchester City Council’s Core Strategy, including Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 and a 15% reduction in dwelling emission rate will be achieved.

Element Sustainability’s role is to support the application through the provision of a Sustainability Statement and Code for Sustainable Homes report.  Additionally, an Energy Statement has been submitted to appraise a number of renewable energy and low carbon technologies alongside enhanced material specifications in order to demonstrate how the Policy requirements may be met in the most cost efficient and feasible manner.
