#ClimateStrikes

Today, Friday 20th September 2019, millions of young people will walk out from work, school or university to declare a climate emergency. This strike demonstrates to politicians and decision makers, the urgency of the response that the climate crises requires. People are taking to the streets three days before the UN’s Climate Emergency Summit, rallying for a new climate approach and a response that centres around human rights, equality and justice.

Strikes will also continue again on the 27th September for Earth Strike Day.  Over 150 countries are stepping up to support young climate strikers and demand an end to the age of fossil fuels. The climate crisis won’t wait and these strikes are highlighting that people are also no longer willing wait.
