Flushed With Success

Element Sustainability are pleased to announce another successful BREEAM certification of a bathroom retail building. The ESP store, which has just opened at Queens Retail Park, Preston has been BREEAM certified and achieved the rating of ‘Very Good’. This target rating, implemented by Preston Councils planning policies, broadly represents a performance equivalent to the top 25% of UK new commercial buildings.

‘It has been a pleasure to work with the design and construction team on this project and look forward to working on the new retail units coming forward as part of the redevelopment of the site’ – Stacey Downes (Senior Sustainability Consultant).

This is the third retail unit that Element Sustainability has certified for BREEAM compliance at the Queens retail park. Stacey has worked closely with our developer client and with the design team, providing direction and guidance throughout the process.
