Zero Emissions Day and Element Sustainability Pledges

At Element Sustainability we believe that incorporating sustainable practices in both our living and working lives is vital to ensuring that carbon emissions are reduced in line with national and international targets.

In support of this, the team have this week undertaken a review of our living and working habits and set a series of ‘pledges’ for the coming year, with a view to reducing carbon emissions associated with our lifestyles.

Along with practical pledges, such as reducing meat consumption, and reducing travel by car, the team also identified slightly less conventional actions, such as using reclaimed stone for upcoming home improvement projects, and promoting energy improvement measures within the local tennis club.

Ahead of ‘Zero Emissions Day’, this Thursday 21st September, this review provided a timely reminder of how the actions we take during our daily lives can make a difference and contribute towards leading more sustainable, less carbon intensive lives.
