New Instruction – Sustainability Statement

Element Sustainability have been instructed by Acorn, a London based property specialist company to provide a Sustainability Statement for their latest scheme at Carlton Court, Beckenham. The Statement will consider both the holistic sustainability of the scheme and detail the energy performance of the new apartments. The proposals include the construction of a new second floor to an existing residential building comprising of four new apartments.

A review of the Bromley Borough Council’s and the London Plan’s planning requirements will inform the sustainability performance appraisal of the scheme. The merits of a ‘fabric led’ solution will be assessed along with energy demand and emissions reduction calculations for the site to demonstrate that the development proposals accord with the current policy requirements.
