New Instruction – Energy Statement

Element Sustainability has been appointed to provide an Energy Statement to support the planning application for the proposed residential scheme at Hill Top Farm, Davenham. Stewart Milne Homes (NW) Limited, a residential construction and development company,  is proposing to build a total of one hundred and thirteen dwellings at the site consisting of apartments, terrace, semi-detached and detached dwellings.

The energy  statement will demonstrate a site wide 10% dwelling emission rate reduction beyond Part L Building Regulations through a ‘fabric led’ design solution.

The merits of a ‘fabric led’ solution will be assessed along with energy demand calculations for the site to demonstrate that the development proposals accord with the Cheshire West and Chester policy requirements.
