New Instruction – Code for Sustainable Homes and Part L Compliance

Element Sustainability has been appointed by Russell Homes, an award winning independent house builder, to provide Part L compliance calculations and Code for Sustainable Homes (Code) consultancy services for their latest residential scheme at Tan House Lane, Widnes. One hundred and seventy five dwellings will be constructed at the brown field site comprising of apartments, bungalows, terrace, semi-detached and detached dwellings.

SAP calculations will be completed for the entire site and the Code assessments will be completed for the forty four Halton Housing Trust affordable homes.

Early consultation with the Russell Homes design team will ensure that the development will achieve Code Level 3 certification in the most commercially viable manner. Our consultancy services for this project also extend to Daylight Factor Calculations and Part G water efficiency calculations.
