Energy Compliance Services for Jones Homes North West

Element Sustainability have been instructed to provided Part L energy demand compliance calculations for one of their latest residential schemes Moss Farm, Westlow Heath in Congleton. One hundred and thirty seven dwellings will be constructed at the site comprising of apartments, terrace, semi-detached and detached houses.

We were first involved with this project to assist in the planning application stage and the provision of an energy statement which determined the energy strategy for the scheme. The development is to achieve a 10% reduction in (regulated) energy demand through a fabric first approach.

The project is now successfully through the planning stage and SAP calculation to demonstrate compliance with Building Regulation, Part L1A (2013) for all plots will be completed followed by the EPCs upon completion.

We have been working closely with the Jones Homes (north west) technical team to model the standard house types across their sites and have a in depth knowledge of their construction techniques having determined their Part L (2013) build specification. It is great to work with Jones Homes North West on another development through from planning to completion.
