Closure of the Feed-in Tariffs Scheme

The Feed-in Tariff (FIT) is a government programme designed to promote the uptake of low-carbon and renewable electricity generation technologies.  The scheme required licensed electricity suppliers to participate and make payments on both generation and export from eligible installations. This is a reminder that the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) scheme is due to close to new applicants from the first of April, 2019.
