On 6th November, the Khafre Pyramid was illuminated marking the beginning of the 27th Conference of the Parties (COP27) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

COP27 marks a crucial point in the climate emergency, covering issues from reducing emissions, increasing adaptation to unavoidable implications of climate change, as well as consolidating commitments to climate action in developing countries, embedding actions towards global climate goals and tackle the climate emergency.
