Mixed-use development in Peckham makes the grade

Element Sustainability are pleased to announce another successful assessment certified under BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes (Code) for a mixed-use scheme in Peckham, London. The new mixed-use development, comprises two ground floor retail units and thirty seven apartments across the upper floors. The development has just reached practical completion and achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’ for the retail units and Code level 4 for the residential units across the upper floors. This target rating, as required by Southwark Council’s planning policies, broadly represents a performance equivalent to the top 25% of new UK commercial buildings.

‘It has been a pleasure to work with the design and construction team from the initial design stages through to project completion’ – Stacey Downes (Senior Sustainability Consultant and BREEAM Assessor).
