New Instruction – Carbon Budget Statement

Element Sustainability has been appointed by a residential and commercial contractor Ludstone Developments Ltd to provide a Carbon Budget Statement. This will support the detailed planning application for the proposed scheme at Back Grafton Street, Altrincham. The scheme will comprise of fifteen apartments arranged over five floors within a single block.

Trafford Council’s local development framework requires new developments to mitigate and reduce its impact on climate change factors. The Carbon Budget Statement will review the Council’s planning policies and outline the measures to be implemented to ensure the proposed development reduces its CO2 emissions.

Energy calculations will be completed to enable the technical team to establish a feasible and viable means of significantly reducing the dwelling’s carbon dioxide emission rate in accordance with local planning policy targets.
