Element Sustainability has been appointed by Taylor Wimpey Manchester to provide Part L building regulations compliance calculations and air permeability testing services for their latest scheme at Rothwells Farm, Lowton, Wigan. The development will comprise of four hundred and fifty three dwellings, including four hundred and forty one houses and twelve apartments.
The dwellings must comply with Building Regulations Part L 2010, calculations to demonstrate compliance will be completed along with the provision of Part L submission documents and EPC lodgement.
House type water calculations will also be completed to demonstrate compliance with Part G of the Building Regulations of an internal water use limit of 125litres/per person/day.
Air permeability testing services are to be provided to Part L1a of the building regulations; a representative testing regime will be provided.
We will be involved throughout the development process to provide continuous support until project completion.
