Four for Code 4!

4th January 2013

Element Sustainability is proud to report the successful final certification of four, Code for Sustainable Homes (Code) Level 4 developments in the North West.  Working alongside developers Mansell, McGoff & Byrne and Stewart Milne Homes the final code assessments were completed within the last month.

The dwellings will all provide sustainable, low energy social housing.  In particular, the Adelphi site constructed by Stewart Milne Homes forms part of the AIMC4 innovation partnership, pioneering the volume production of low carbon homes for the future.  Significant upfront design work by Element Sustainability and Stewart Milne’s technical team enabled the delivery of Code 4 units through innovative fabric solutions alone, thus embedding reduced carbon emissions within the performance of the dwelling.
