We would like to congratulate Esme on completing the Chester Marathon this past weekend in an incredible time!
This alone is impressive, but what makes it even more extraordinary is that Esme’s marathon marks the completion of the Chester Triple; made up of the Chester 10K, Chester Half Marathon and the Chester Marathon.
Taking place on Sunday, 5th October, the Chester Marathon is known for being a very tough but scenic race. Esme took on the 26.2 mile course across Chester and the surrounding areas and even crossed the finish line with a smile on her face.
Running a marathon is no small feat. Esme spent months on training to prepare for the race and her commitment truly paid off with her completing the race in a time of 3.24.37.
Everyone at Element Sustainability is incredibly proud of Esme’s achievement. We know how much effort goes into preparing for such an event (as we know from her daily training updates and regular Strava posts), and we are all inspired by her determination to get through the race.
Please join us in congratulating Esme on her first ever marathon, it’s an amazing achievement and we are really excited to see what challenge she takes on next.
