Basil House, Manchester – BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment Assessment

Our in-house BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment Assessor conducted a progress review meeting and carried out a site inspection visit for the change of use development at Basil House, Portland Street, Manchester. The Beech Design and Build team have worked hard to produce a highly desirable building which retains the historic character of the local area. Basil House accommodates thirty-seven luxury apartments across the upper floors with retail units occupying the ground floor area. We will now work with Beech Design and Build to complete the Post-Construction BREEAM Assessment and certify the building as BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment ‘Very Good’ with the aspiration to achieve BREEAM ‘excellent’ if feasible.
