New Instruction – BREEAM 2014 New Construction Assessment

Element Sustainability has been appointed by Henry Boot Developments, to provide BREEAM consultancy services for their latest office scheme, Invicta House, Manchester. This BREEAM New Construction 2014 assessment will assess a six storey office building which will be constructed behind a retained façade.

The BREEAM target rating is understood to be ‘Very Good’, this rating broadly represents a performance equivalent to the top 25% of UK commercial buildings. A pre-assessment report will be prepared to support the planning application as well as determine the optimal solution to achieving the BREEAM target.

Having agreed the assessment approach we will work closely with the schemes design team/stakeholders to assess the proposed development. We will provide support and advice on how best to achieve the requisite BREEAM rating.
